Design a Faux Brick Wall

If you don't have a brick wall in your home, don't worry. You can create a faux one for an affordable price. You can transform your walls from a plain white paint style to something with texture and a soothing color scheme.

It's a great alternative if you don't like to paint or want to have a wall to give the room a brick dynamic. It'll add much-needed variety to your home, and people will appreciate the attention to detail. Not to mention, it doesn't take long to put this up with the right adhesive.

Put Up An Art Ledge

When it comes to taking up space, an art ledge is a perfect thing to place on your wall. You can do it yourself or have someone put it up there. It's a great thing to have when you want to show off family photos or some interesting frames.

You can choose art ledges with a neutral color to help you blend in with your walls. This is perfect for a smaller wall because it gives the illusion that it appears bigger from a distance.

Create a Big Mural

A mural with some beautiful tones and colors will give your walls a dynamic feel. Plus, it's not something you see every day because people tend to leave their walls blank. You can create a showpiece that goes with the overall theme of the room.

If your living room has tones of red, then maybe some red hints along with the piece can help you keep the space cohesive. Not to mention, this can be a nice feature that draws in some great conversation with your guests.

You can explain the piece to them because it may have a deeper meaning. Additionally, this can be your room where you relax and watch your favorite show or sports game.

Use Natural Elements

Go for something like some tiled squares of cork to give your room a more organic appeal. The white mixed with the brown undertones of the wall attachments will keep the room relaxing and airy. It'll feel as though you have more room.

Additionally, some designer wallpaper can help take up white space, so you don't have to stare at a blank wall. The organic elements of the wall can help match your plants and the natural lighting from outside. It makes for a great aura in your living room or bedroom.

A Collage Can Give Your Room More Depth

For something like a family room, it's great to have pictures of loved ones. You can create different designs with it, such as a collage in a circular theme. Additionally, you can have art pieces that have portraits of your family, pets, and more.

If you're into sports, it's not a bad idea to have sports pictures/clippings to help upgrade your walls. Also, an autographed jersey would work perfectly for a guy cave.  Put it in a frame to go with different pictures of the player right above your TV.

Thinking outside of the box can help you come up with wall art ideas. Switch things up by adding your personality and the things that matter most to you. As a result, you'll have nice-looking walls that you and your loved ones can enjoy spectating.
