Project Highlight: Miami Design District

Miami Design District by Maxxon Corp.

Architect: Floor Technologies, Inc.

Location: Miami, Florida, USA

Size: 20,000 Sq. Ft.

Floor Technologies, Inc. was approached by a client to help bring two floors in a Burberry retail store up 1-1/2" to meet the existing entry and exits while also meeting a 1/8" per 10' tolerance to accommodate wood, tile, and VCT finished floor goods. As the retail store was part of the new Miami Design District shopping complex, Floor Technologies realized the opportunity to help other retailers in the complex solf similar floor challenges. Floor Technologies used grade pins and a laser to install high-strength Dura-Cap in each property, ensuring a smooth, strong, level surface ready to receive a variety of finished floor goods.
