Project Highlight: Alice Chalmers

Alice Chalmers is a new SPEC playground designed by Groundworks Office that is completed and ready to open in San Francisco. The playground features a Lappset Cubic which is the first of its kind in North America along with peripheral components by Berliner Play Equipment. The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department received a $30,000 grant from the National Recreation and Park Association and The Walt Disney Company. This is one of the 13 playgrounds in SF to be built through the Let’sPlaySF! Campaign.
