Friday Feature - August 17th Edition
In this edition we're showcasing 3D models by The Cable Connection, Eldorado Fireplace Surrounds, EnviroTech Soil Solutions, Inc, & EVO RIVETLESS by Carter Architectural Panels Inc. We've also gathered projects from SYNLawn, Little Tikes Commercial, and Panda Windows & Doors.
3D Model Highlights
The Cable Connection - Push-Lock Lag
For posts with sleeves, you will want to go through the sleeves and connect to the core underneath. As that is usually wood, you will lag into the post. If necessary, Ultra-tec® makes extended length lags to ensure the fitting will sink deeply enough into the core to be secure.
Eldorado Fireplace Surrounds - The Bryant
The Bryant is an elegant surround that transcends all design styles with multiple layers of intricate yet linear carvings. The base blocks further enhance its stature and solid stance.
EnviroTech Soil Solutions, Inc. - AxisDE Soil Amendment
AxisDE improves soil porosity, physical function and has 4 times more available water than peat or compost, gives USGA sand 60% more pores, and has no affinity for sodium. AxisDE increases horizontal and vertical wetting and increases plant survival rates.
EVO Rivetless by Carter Architectural Panels Inc. - EVO 285 Intertek
The building envelope wall assembly is becoming the focus of testing for new standards and innovations to meet the challenges for the urban build-out, like NFPA 285.
Project Highlights
Panda Windows & Doors - High-Rise Luxury in Denver: Steele Creek
Steele Creek is a luxury high-rise apartment complex located in the heart of Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado. Designed by The Housing Studio and Rottet Studio, two renowned architectural firms, this 218-unit masterwork features a soaring, mostly glass façade atop a foundational stone podium.
The 446,000 sq. ft. project, carried out by Denver-based general contractor Haselden Construction, is comprised of two buildings, the Adams Building (8 floors) and the Steele Building (12 floors with underground parking), which are connected via a bridge that crosses a public alley.

SYNLawn - Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
SYNLawn, the only artificial grass manufacturer with a complete plant-based surfacing system, was recently installed at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex specifically in the rocket launch viewing area. The 20,000 square feet of SYNAugustine 547 turf covers the equivalent of more than four basketball courts. SYNLawn's SYNAugustine 547 is a new USDA Certified bio-based product that uses plant-based polyethylene thatch fibers made from sugarcane polymers in addition to soy polymers used in the turf backing. This groundbreaking, environmentally friendly artificial grass meets the heavy foot-traffic demands of the visitor complex.
