Project Highlights
Rigid Lifelines - XSPlatforms Fall Arrest System at State Garden, Inc
As the Safety Director, Mr. Bennett develops policies and procedures to keep his employees safe with the help of hazard analysis and other similar techniques. After acquiring a new building in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Mr. Bennett assessed the potential fall risk for his maintenance workers. That’s when Bennett decided to contact Rigid Lifelines to purchase and install a fall arrest system to prevent accidents due to poor weather conditions and human error. He chose the XSPlatforms Fall Arrest system because it is unique, and he couldn’t find anything else like it on the market. According to Bennett, “The XS Fall Arrest System offered him the peace and security that when his guys are up there, they are safe.”

Robinson Iron - Baltimore Basilica
Restoration of Henry Benjamin Latrobe’s cathedral masterpiece involved the cataloging, removal, restoration and installation of the restored gates and perimeter fence. Robinson Iron’s crews removed the fence and gate materials while protecting the original granite footing. Lead based coatings were rendered non-leachable with the application of Pre-Tox and removed by blasting. Protective Tnemec finish coatings were applied in the shop and touched-up in the field. Re-installation was accomplished on the original granite footing utilizing Type 304 Stainless Steel Fasteners and Brass Bushings.

Sagiper - Ellwood Corner Commercial Lobby
For this application SAGIREV REF #11 Pine Zebrawood planks, in 6” width profile, were cut down to 2’ lengths and then backed with adhesive to flat lay-in mineral fiber ceiling tiles. The newly formed ceiling panels were then dropped into a t-bar suspension grid system to allow for access to the above electrical and mechanical. The t-bar grid was also painted to match the Pine Zebrawood finish and the finished product is stunning.
